I am wanting to sleep,
I am the fingers that weave braids and tie stories,
I am the tintico with aguapanela in the mornings,
I am wanting to catch the Sun with my eyes and that is reflected in the hair,
I am the "small constellation " of moles on my neck, 
I am addiction of writing with the weight of Gypsies rings,
I am plan to buy books to a dollar,
I am part - time spring, part - time fall,
I am wanting to enter stores hats,

I am the book full of scratches and phrases without lines,
I am champeta which dances on a gray Monday,

I am using hyperboles and metaphors to tell stories,

I am the constant search for art in the days,
I'm humming songs without rhythm,
I am the tickle at the feet of wanting to walk the world,
I am wanting to embrace with force,
I am the hot afternoons coffee,
I am the producer universes with verses.

 

Ahh well... Ask that more... que le piquen caña!!

Champeta: is a genre of folk music and dance originating in the Atlantic coastal regions of Colombia.
