It starts with a ferry ride, with a strong breeze that churns the laughter, opens the lungs and unties the eyelashes. It forces you to cross seas, and to leave the buildings, the traffic ... the cities. All the passengers, we suffer a kind of anxiety to know the freedom and we look for the best position, which is not the most comfortable chair, is the one with the 360º view, the highest level, the closest to the clouds .

Each one sees the greatness of freedom according to the size of his pupils, his eyes enlarge, his skin bristles and his feet strive to see his face. Everything seems to collapse, the sun chooses the best rays to fall on the sculpture, the clouds are so close to the torch, that it seems that we were to eat melted marshmallows, the sky is responsible for putting the best filters to create contrasts that make us feel On the island of freedom and the water that surrounds it comes with so much force that it shows how free it is to flow.
The truth is that buying a lemonade with a shape of the torch, reading the books of that history or posing with a crown of 7 rays equal to that lady, doesn't make you more or less free. The truth is, that freedom begins from the moment that ...

... We decide to walk the world, in which we belong to nothing material. It starts from the moment we listen: When the eyes demand to contemplate landscapes, when the feet are so free that they appreciate a pause of so much walking, when the arms embrace without excuses, when the hands feel textures, when the hair is the reflection of the sun, when To be silent is the best conversation, when the sighs belong at the sunset. When we feel that life is not happening without being lived and we get up early to see sunrises and we sit to bid farewell to the sun.
Although this taught me to travel, now I understand that it is not the city, it is not the island. It is we who give life to places. Thanks to life for the free hearts, for the adventurous spirits because we are not only a statue of freedom.
